Clarie has been passionate about art and the application of the arts in community and education since her graduation from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She believes that everyone can benefit from art in a variety of ways. Being a Registered Arts Therapist, Clarie bridges the communication gap between her and her service recipients with the arts, and helps facilitate self-understanding, and the finding of their inner resources to nurture personal growth and healing.

Clarie has collaborated with different schools, NGOs and institutions to provide expressive arts therapy. Her service recipients include SEN students in kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools, also parents, people with intellectual or physical disabilities, post stroke and dementia elderly patients, adolescents and adults with emotional needs and stress, etc. In addition, Clarie is actively engaged in hosting workshops to promote public awareness of mental health.
